KYC Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the end-to-end client onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition to active status
• Perform AML/KYC due diligence reviews on corporate clients with various legal structures and jurisdictions
• Identify, review, and disposition PEPs, Sanctions, and Adverse Media at the onboarding stage
• Classify clients from a risk and regulatory perspective and conduct periodic KYC refreshes
• Investigate and escalate suspicious activity or financial crime (AML & Fraud) issues to protect the business
• Communicate efficiently with clients and brokers to gather necessary documentation and provide progress updates
• Maintain accurate trackers, manage the KYC inbox, and ensure all processes follow company policy

Requirements

• Proven experience in an AML/Compliance or Onboarding & Reviews role within a Financial Broker Services company
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and MAS regulations
• Understanding of complex entity structures, including Trusts and Funds in overseas jurisdictions (e.g., BVI, Cayman Islands)
• Knowledge of high-risk indicators and client screening/sanctions requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
