KYC Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing KYC reviews on new and existing counterparties
• Implement monitoring procedures for sanctions, PEPs, SOEs, and adverse media
• Review KYC policy and operating procedures to identify and suggest improvements
• Escalate High Risk cases to the relevant approving authority
• Review intermediaries including brokers, agents, and warehouses for business integrity compliance
• Facilitate responses to incoming KYC requests from counterparties
• Provide requirements to automate the KYC process and support system enhancement initiatives

Requirements

• 3-4 years of relevant KYC/AML experience in a compliance or control environment
• Previous KYC experience in commodities, energy trading, or banking
• Knowledge of screening engines such as World Check or Thomson Reuters
• Understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks
• Ability to identify control deficiencies in counterparty onboarding processes
