Kurator

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to patients and relatives through individual, couple, or family sessions
• Support, encourage, inform, and relieve patients and relatives regarding disease-related issues
• Participate in close collaboration and rounds with the multidisciplinary team
• Conduct investigations and assessments of patients' and relatives' needs for support and advice
• Organize and lead caregiver/relative meetings
• Inform patients about societal resources including economy, work, housing, transport, and insurance

Requirements

• Social worker degree (socionomexamen)
• Professional license within healthcare (legitimation inom hälso- och sjukvård)
• Proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Valid B-driver's license
• Ability to travel between different locations (Innerstaden, Lidingö, and Solna)
• Comfort working in environments where pets may be present

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a counselor within ASIH (home palliative care), palliative care, oncology, or somatic care
• Experience working with patients of all ages
• Experience collaborating with other healthcare providers
