Kubernetes Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Management of a large Linux/UNIX-based environment supporting global IT infrastructure
• Install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters
• Assist with Kubernetes environment architectural improvements and standardization
• Collaborate with Architecture, Development, Test, and Service Assurance teams
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes issues and patch underlying Linux and Kubernetes platforms
• Automate routine tasks and create detailed documentation
• Administration of Enterprise Server Virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V
• Management of Enterprise Grade server/storage hardware platforms

Requirements

• Good grounding in Linux or UNIX systems administration
• Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container best practices
• Strong background in virtualization and cloud computing
• 2+ years of Kubernetes Platforms Experience
• 5+ years of Linux or UNIX System Administration
• University degree in IT or equivalent
• Excellent command of English
