About the role
Responsibilities
- Provision, upgrade, and monitor various types of Kubernetes clusters (Community/GKE)
- Manage container security and container storage
- Handle Severity#2 and Severity#3 incidents within a 24/7 operation support framework
- Manage application life cycle and container registries
- Implement CI/CD workflows and monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Kubernetes or GKE
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes components and provisioning
- Proficiency with Docker and container runtimes
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, or Jenkins
- Solid knowledge of GCP and Linux operating systems (CentOS/Ubuntu)
- Understanding of Helm, Helm Charts, and container networking
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Certified GCP / GKE Administrator
- Experience with Shell Scripting and Ansible automation
- Experience with container storage and backup solutions
