KS2 Class Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the school curriculum
• Teach pupils according to their individual educational needs
• Set, mark, and assess work to monitor pupil development, progress, and attainment
• Maintain a dynamic, inspiring, and safe learning environment
• Disseminate high-quality teaching pedagogy to ensure consistently good or outstanding learning
• Contribute to the wider life of the academy and engage in ongoing professional development
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff to support pupil growth

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• An undergraduate degree
• Proven experience teaching the primary curriculum
• Strong subject knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Effective classroom behaviour management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an ECT or an experienced teacher looking for new challenges
• Ability to take on TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) roles
