KR Supervisor - Pressroom

Responsibilities

• Lead press production execution to exceed expectations in safety, quality, productivity, and schedules
• Manage administrative and manufacturing employees across one or more shifts
• Direct printing processes to ensure economical costs while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Motivate staff and deploy workforce effectively to meet production goals and delivery dates
• Analyze and resolve work-related problems and assist employees with troubleshooting production issues
• Facilitate safety programs and encourage a culture of safety to eliminate unsafe behaviors
• Support cost, scrap, and work reduction programs to improve profitability
• Foster continuous improvement through TQM concepts and lean methodologies
• Train employees in new processes and share technical expertise

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a commercial press or printing environment
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability and willingness to work multiple shifts, including nights
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage people and direct work activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or a related field
