Korean Summer Academy Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach core subject blocks to a small group of scholars using best practices
• Use consistent school-wide practices and individualized methods to engage students
• Create, monitor, and sustain a disciplined school culture with high academic and behavioral standards
• Develop and reinforce school-wide rules and expectations to provide classroom structure
• Communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Commitment to college success and authentic civic engagement
• Ability to hold scholars to high behavioral and academic expectations
• Commitment to using data analysis and assessments to drive instruction

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of urban teaching experience
• State teaching certification
• TFA Corps membership or alumni status
