Korean PM Lead – Procurement & Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize the full buying cycle, including supplier sourcing, product selection, and vendor negotiation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Korean partners both locally and internationally.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure timely product launches and inventory availability.
• Analyze inventory performance and market trends to optimize purchasing strategies and margins.
• Negotiate direct procurement partnerships and strategic sourcing opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between Korean vendors, the Korean office, and U.S. headquarters.
• Mentor junior team members in procurement best practices and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvements in procurement processes and supply chain efficiency.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or buying, ideally in retail or e-commerce.
• Fluency in both Korean and English (written and spoken).
• Proven expertise in vendor negotiation, cost management, and purchase planning.
• Strong understanding of Korean business culture and supplier management.
• Hands-on experience with supply chain workflow optimization, including international shipments and Incoterms.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales and inventory data.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems or other inventory management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with Korean brands or cross-border trade.
• Experience in beauty, skincare, K-beauty, or K-food categories.
• Experience localizing Korean products for U.S. or international consumers.
• Knowledge of customs clearance, compliance, and import/export documentation.
• Experience leading small to mid-size procurement or merchandising teams.
