Konstruktionsmechaniker/Schweißer

Responsibilities

• Professionally weld large-scale mechanical engineering structures using various methods including WIG, MAG, and UP welding
• Utilize automated and semi-automated welding processes such as MAG tractors or cobots
• Assemble parts according to technical drawings and ensure dimensional accuracy during assembly
• Execute complex multi-layer weld seams following construction specifications, considering heat treatment and welding sequence
• Perform quality inspections to control deformation and dimensional stability using standard measurement methods
• Prepare components using cutting processes such as flame and plasma cutting

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a construction mechanic or welder
• Proven professional experience in MAG 135 welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Proficiency in the German language for team communication and technical reading
• Possession of a crane license or willingness to obtain one
• Reliability, teamwork skills, and flexibility in a dynamic work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualification as a Welding Specialist (Schweißfachmann)
• Certification as a Magnetic Particle Inspector (MT1/2)
