Knowledge Specialist, GMA

Responsibilities

• Act as a key expert contact for compliance requirements needed to access specific countries or programs
• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of Harmonized System (HS) codes and global customs requirements
• Provide classification guidance, global regulatory updates, and research monitoring
• Track regulatory trends and communicate upcoming changes to stakeholders
• Coordinate research and studies involving multiple products, regulations, and countries
• Identify and translate business opportunities for internal stakeholders
• Maintain expertise in HS Code classification, customs regulations, and import/export documentation
• Act as a point of contact with customs authorities and internal partners to maintain regulatory knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Deep knowledge of the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) business
• Expertise in HS Code classification and customs regulations
• Strong ability to connect regulatory rules with customer needs and business opportunities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize complex concepts simply
• Proven ability to network, build relationships, and facilitate collaboration with stakeholders
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide valid solutions based on experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, International Relations, or a related specialization
• Experience with specific geographic areas or specialized regulatory frameworks
