About the role

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Knowledge Team to develop how-to video tutorials in multiple languages
  • Partner with the Localization Team to ensure the quality of product translations
  • Collaborate to produce and distribute multi-lingual content, including product screenshots for help documentation
  • Oversee and manage publishing queues to review and publish content created by D2L colleagues
  • Address client needs for multi-lingual content and documentation

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary university or college program
  • Fluency in at least one language other than English (e.g., Canadian French, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, or Arabic)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, independent work ethic
  • Familiarity and interest in AI tools such as ChatGPT or CoPilot
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)
  • Ability to work in-person from a D2L office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technical writing for software or process documentation
  • Experience with GitHub for version control
  • Experience with MadCap Flare as a content management system
  • Experience using Canva to create video tutorials
  • Completed coursework in communication, technical writing, or rhetoric
