About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the joint knowledge management and learning (KML) function for the Gender Department, shaping institutional knowledge and learning strategies.
- Spearhead the department's portfolio of learning series, including webinars, workshops, practitioner exchanges, and operational clinics.
- Design and deliver staff learning programs such as onboarding, e-learning, and AI capacity-building workshops.
- Develop and implement unified document governance and information management standards using SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.
- Manage departmental good practice repositories, including case studies, lessons learned databases, and solution portfolios.
- Improve taxonomy, metadata structures, and search experiences across all knowledge platforms.
- Support the design of knowledge products and toolkits, such as playbooks and adaptation frameworks, to scale and replicate solutions.
- Adopt innovative knowledge-sharing approaches, including AI-enabled discovery and workflow automation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in knowledge management, information management, organizational development, library sciences, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, including leading KML functions in a large, complex organizational environment.
- Extensive experience with enterprise content management platforms and collaboration tools, specifically SharePoint, MS Teams, and OneDrive.
- Proven hands-on experience in multimedia production, website publishing, and visual communications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead institutional learning and engagement initiatives.
- Strong ability to work across institutional boundaries and engage with senior management and stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-enabled knowledge discovery and digital dissemination tools.
- Familiarity with the WBG institutional knowledge landscape and Knowledge Bank agenda.
- Experience applying Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) practices to project delivery.
