Knitwear Designer

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze the latest knitwear and fashion trends to identify relevance for the target customer
• Create comprehensive trend boards including yarns, textures, knitting techniques, and color palettes
• Design and develop knitwear collections with detailed technical specifications such as gauge, stitches, and yarn composition
• Collaborate with Design, Buying, and Commercial teams throughout the development and production stages
• Work directly with suppliers and factories to ensure quality, innovation, and technical feasibility

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Knitwear Fashion Design
• Strong technical knowledge of knitwear construction, yarns, and knitting techniques
• Experience working in a fast fashion or high-volume fashion environment
• Exceptional trend awareness and attention to detail
• Pro-active, team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to travel when required
