Knitwear Buyer

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute product development from start to end in collaboration with the Buying team
• Execute efficient component and product development strategies focusing on profitability and sustainability
• Build range plans and maintain a balanced assortment in collaboration with Assortment Planners
• Analyze and adjust product, price, and profitability strategies to meet department goals
• Drive timelines for the department and support omni-channel strategy
• Secure optimal purchases based on fashion trends and customer needs
• Guide and develop Assistant and Junior Buyers
• Monitor market conditions and share customer insights with the product team
• Develop relationships with Production office teams to ensure on-time delivery

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Buyer in Womenswear with essential Knitwear expertise
• Product development background working with in-house design teams
• Knowledge of luxury or high-quality products is beneficial
• Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends, styles, fabrics, and colors
• Strong understanding of the global fashion industry and trend predictions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Data-driven decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
