About the role
Responsibilities
- Assemble kits according to specified work instructions for customer orders, ensuring all components are correctly packaged
- Assemble LED lights for use in physical assessment medical devices
- Verify kit accuracy and completeness against the Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Pack and label kits following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular audits to address discrepancies
- Inspect components for defects to ensure only high-quality materials are used
- Document assembly, inventory, and quality control activities, including reporting non-conformances
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics teams to streamline operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in kitting, assembly, or inventory management
- Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management software
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a medical device manufacturing or healthcare environment
- Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM) or quality control (e.g., CQT)
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or ISO 9001 standards
