Kitting Associate

Responsibilities

• Assemble kits according to specified work instructions for customer orders, ensuring all components are correctly packaged
• Assemble LED lights for use in physical assessment medical devices
• Verify kit accuracy and completeness against the Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Pack and label kits following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular audits to address discrepancies
• Inspect components for defects to ensure only high-quality materials are used
• Document assembly, inventory, and quality control activities, including reporting non-conformances
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics teams to streamline operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in kitting, assembly, or inventory management
• Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management software
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a medical device manufacturing or healthcare environment
• Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM) or quality control (e.g., CQT)
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or ISO 9001 standards
