About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff during daily operations
- Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently to recipe and quality standards
- Oversee mise en place, station readiness, and kitchen workflow across all sections
- Train, mentor, and performance-manage kitchen team members
- Monitor food inventory, minimize waste, and communicate stock needs to management
- Enforce strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and food production
- Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to lead a team calmly and effectively under pressure
- Experience in Asian or Hawaiian cuisine is an advantage
