Kitchen Supervisor (Overnight Prep Production)

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise prep cooks by assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Oversee all food preparation to ensure recipes, portion standards, quality, and consistency are maintained.
• Coordinate daily workflow and communicate shortages or equipment issues to management.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, labeling, storage, and product rotation standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of prep areas, storage spaces, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and waste control initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant, commissary, or production kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Valid Food Handler Certification.
• Ability to work overnight and early morning shifts (shifts may begin as early as 3:00 AM).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
