Responsibilities
- Ensure food quality and production standards are met
- Oversee smooth kitchen functioning and assist hands-on where needed
- Promote food safety through checklists, temperature monitoring, and proper storage
- Rotate inventory and conduct food inventory counts per company standards
- Enforce recipe adherence and manage waste reduction
- Train kitchen staff on health and safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment repairs
- Perform administrative tasks and support the Kitchen Manager’s projects
Requirements
- Experience in kitchen operations and team supervision
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Strong communication and coaching abilities
- Ability to lead by example and work collaboratively
- Effective time management and priority-setting skills
