Kitchen Steward

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Assist chefs with basic cleaning, waste disposal, and equipment organization
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Support kitchen operations during peak service hours and special events

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hotel kitchen or food & beverage outlet
• Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation procedures (HACCP preferred)
• Physically fit and able to handle kitchen equipment and long standing hours
• Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
