About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Assist chefs with basic cleaning, waste disposal, and equipment organization
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Support kitchen operations during peak service hours and special events
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hotel kitchen or food & beverage outlet
- Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation procedures (HACCP preferred)
- Physically fit and able to handle kitchen equipment and long standing hours
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
