Kitchen Steward

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils in accordance with hygiene standards
• Efficiently manage dishwashing duties and ensure timely availability of clean kitchenware
• Assist with the receiving, storing, and proper handling of food supplies
• Ensure garbage disposal and waste management are handled promptly and according to hotel protocols
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation and organization as required
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of service

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
• Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards applicable in a 5-star hotel kitchen
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good physical stamina to handle the demands of kitchen labor
• Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must be currently located in the UAE
