Kitchen Staff

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and service at cafe stations through meal periods
• Assist culinary staff in the kitchen with food prep, batch cooking, and special events
• Prepare items for cold and hot entrees, salads, breads, rolls, pastry, and desserts
• Sort, wash, and store dishes for the operation
• Restock dishes on service lines as time allows
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of restaurant equipment and dishes
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned

• Professional interaction with employees, customers, and suppliers
• Ability to work effectively as a team contributor and independently
• Must possess or obtain a current Oregon Food handler’s card
• Ability to meet uniform standards and utilize Personal Protective Equipment
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and perform extensive walking
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience
