Kitchen Porter

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Ensure all kitchen work areas, including floors and surfaces, are kept clean and hygienic
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients
• Collect and dispose of kitchen waste in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure food and equipment are stored properly to maintain health and safety standards
• Assist with deliveries and organize stock
• Follow safety procedures and maintain hygiene standards in line with Food Safety regulations

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Physical fitness for a demanding role
• UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential due to location)
• Must be a permanent resident (not a student looking for holiday work)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
