About the role
Responsibilities
- Run hub kitchen operations including production scheduling, food quality, and on-time execution
- Manage bi-weekly cold batch production and lead hot prep days
- Supervise kitchen staff and manage labor scheduling within budget
- Oversee two additional Dallas school locations through regular site visits and deliveries
- Monitor food waste, inventory counts, and food safety standards
- Act as the primary point of contact for school partners at the hub location
- Provide coaching and development to Lead Cooks at satellite locations
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in kitchen or food production operations
- Hands-on experience working the line and leading a team
- Proficiency in batch production, food safety, and inventory management (FIFO)
- Strong people management and coaching skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between Dallas locations
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Must be based in Dallas or within commuting distance
