About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food quality, inventory, and ordering
- Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize food, beverage, and labor costs
- Oversee financial administrative duties including invoices, reporting, and payroll
- Enforce highest standards of service efficiency, sanitation, and safety practices
- Coordinate production for events and functions
- Direct hiring, supervision, development, and training of culinary staff
- Manage kitchen cleaning schedules and food storage protocols
- Ensure proper plate presentation and adherence to recipe guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in kitchen positions (food prep, line cook, expediter)
- Minimum 3 years in a management or supervisory role
- Active ServSafe Manager certificate
- Proficiency in food planning, purchasing, and personnel management
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary degree
