GCD is an all-day café specializing in hand made doughnuts and pastries, Intelligentsia Roasted Coffee, dishes prepared in a scratch kitchen and a full liquor beer and wine menu.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all prepared foods, receiving of goods, and food quality/sanitation
• Manage kitchen logistics including inventory counts, food ordering, and invoice entry
• Plan and execute off-site catering, food/beer festivals, and in-house events
• Train and develop hourly cooks and ensure proper orientation
• Maintain local and state health code adherence, including HACCP and temperature logs
• Achieve budgeted food and labor costs
• Perform line checks twice daily to ensure product quality
• Maintain daily communication with the team via shift notes and company email

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-4 years of kitchen management experience OR a 2-year hospitality degree with 1-2 years of management experience
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and a varied schedule
• Proficiency in general computer knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
