Kitchen Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations, including weekly menu planning, meal preparation, and inventory management
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Coordinate food orders, manage supplier relationships, and monitor budget adherence
• Ensure all certifications and documentation such as menus, invoices, and allergy lists are up to date
• Oversee facility upkeep, supply inventory, and vehicle maintenance
• Ensure program records, reports, and audits are accurate and compliant with agency policy
• Maintain training compliance for self and staff including CPR, First Aid, and CPI
• Ensure compliance with health, fire, and building inspections

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least three years of related experience
• Two years of experience in a food service environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and USDA nutrition standards
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be at least 21 years old
