Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient handling
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during meal preparation and service
• Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
• Ensure kitchen areas remain clean and organized at all times
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock and ingredients
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness standards
• Support the team with additional kitchen-related tasks as required

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good organizational skills
• Positive and proactive mindset
