Kinexys Product Sales & Solutions-Payments - Vice President - Japan

Responsibilities

• Lead sales enablement and commercialization for blockchain-based payment products in the Japanese market.
• Own Japan go-to-market execution, including prioritization, targeting, and opportunity shaping in partnership with Sales.
• Design and configure complex client solutions, covering operating models, integration approaches, and implementation considerations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Japan payments trends, client needs, and the competitor landscape.
• Partner with Sales on pricing support, pipeline planning, and account planning.
• Engage directly with client stakeholders to conduct discovery, identify pain points, and validate requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to ensure scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in client solutioning, product commercialization, or consultative sales roles.
• Deep understanding of the payments landscape, including banking, cross-border payments, and cash/transaction banking.
• Proven experience supporting the full sales cycle from discovery through solution definition and implementation.
• Ability to adapt and configure solutions to address complex client workflows, controls, and integration needs.
• Experience operating effectively within a highly matrixed and complex global organization.
• Fluency in Japanese and business-proficient English (both written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of blockchain, tokenization, and digital assets as applied to payments and transaction banking.
• Experience localizing product propositions and collateral specifically for the Japanese market.
• Familiarity with navigating buyer and implementation dynamics across Japanese banks, NBFIs, and corporates.
