Kinesiologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional movement screens and occupational fitness testing following various protocols
• Perform fitness testing as part of Executive Health Assessments and support Occupational health services
• Complete Resting EKGs and Exercise Stress Testing
• Review patient files using an Electronic Medical Record System
• Provide patients with written reports containing medical recommendations
• Confer professionally with medical personnel regarding abnormalities and results
• Explain procedures to patients and answer testing-related questions
• Perform vision, spirometry, audio, drug testing, and other clinic-related tasks as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or a related field
• Active membership with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical Kinesiologist
• Bilingualism in English and French

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting stress EKG tests and monitoring patient safety (including defibrillator use)
• Experience with venipuncture
• Multidisciplinary clinical experience
