Kids Express and Urgent Care Tech

Responsibilities

• Support nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians in delivering pediatric patient care tailored to patient development levels
• Handle patient information with strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards
• Comply with safety management policies to maintain a hazard-free environment
• Communicate effectively and report relevant patient information to the clinical team
• Adapt to census fluctuations and evolving needs of patients and families
• Perform delegated tasks and assist with clinical workflows in an urgent care setting

Requirements

• GED or High School diploma
• CMA certification (required to work to the full scope of practice)
• 1 year of healthcare experience
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Assistant training as requested by management
