Kids Express and Urgent Care Tech

Responsibilities

• Support nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians in delivering pediatric patient care
• Adapt care delivery to the specific developmental levels of each patient
• Handle patient information with strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards
• Comply with hospital safety management policies to maintain a hazard-free environment
• Communicate effectively and report relevant patient information to the clinical team
• Adapt to census fluctuations and evolving needs of patients and families
• Assist with delegated tasks to ensure a patient and family-centered experience

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience as a PCA, STNA, or Medical Assistant
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience documenting in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (strongly preferred to work to the full scope of practice)
