Kids Club Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Kids Club facility to ensure a safe and secure environment for children ages one to twelve
• Supervise children's activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Assist with hiring and training Kids Club staff, including Assistant Managers and Associates
• Schedule staff shifts and monitor child-to-staff ratios
• Manage reservations, child agreements, and parent communications
• Implement emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and first aid protocols
• Maintain accurate attendance records and compliance with licensing requirements
• Develop age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the Kids Club and throughout the gym
• Provide exceptional customer service to parents and guardians
• Support front desk and gym operations when no children are present

Requirements

• Must successfully pass a background check
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
• Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• FBI Fingerprints and Negative TB Test Confirmation required before scheduling
• First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in childcare, daycare, or recreational programming
• Knowledge of child development principles and safety guidelines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
