About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with nephrologists and other Health Care Professionals (HCPs)
- Serve as a territory account manager for specialty kidney clinics
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to improve patient lives in the kidney disease space
- Communicate deep disease and product knowledge to educate HCPs on clinical attributes and patient unmet needs
- Navigate territory and market dynamics, including stakeholder mapping and referral network navigation
- Collaborate across functional areas to achieve common goals and address market challenges
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory, compliance guidelines, and company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of pharmaceutical field sales experience
- Experience in kidney/renal, rare disease, or similar biotech/specialty markets
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, including overnight travel
- Ability to live and work within the assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with successful product launches
- Proficiency with Veeva CRM and other business-supporting IT capabilities
- Experience working effectively within a highly matrixed environment
