About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing and safe care for children ages 6 months to 9 years
- Engage children in a wide variety of fun, educational, and stimulating activities
- Support the Kid Zone short-term, drop-in babysitting service for YMCA members
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all youth participants
Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Experience supervising children of varying ages
- Ability to positively role model the Y core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
