Khmer Transcriber

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe spoken content into written Khmer text
• Adhere to project-specific guidelines, including formatting, punctuation, and grammar
• Perform high-quality transcription work following client-specific Written Domain Conventions
• Review and proofread transcripts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to "clean room" privacy and security policies
• Manage time effectively to meet established deadlines and maintain productivity

Requirements

• Fluent reading, writing, understanding, and typing in Khmer (km_kh)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to commute to the Orlando, FL office (this is an on-site position)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Typing speed of 40+ WPM in Khmer
• Additional training in linguistics, transcription, or a related field
• Ability to understand a wide range of Khmer accents and dialects
