Keyholder

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store following all cash handling, safety, and security protocols
• Supervise store partners to maintain productivity, positive morale, and clear expectations
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented service to customers
• Uphold animal care standards to ensure the health, safety, and proper handling of all animals
• Execute merchandising standards, including planograms, pricing accuracy, and promotional set-ups
• Assist with inventory activities such as restocking, cycle counts, and replenishment
• Act as the primary point of contact for the store in the absence of management
• Process transactions, refunds, and exchanges accurately and efficiently

Requirements

• Previous retail experience required
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience handling cash and performing mathematical transactions
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and move merchandise or animals weighing up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability to support store hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous keyholder or supervisory experience in a retail setting
