About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality education and care for a named young child or group of children
- Work as part of the Early Years team under the direction of the Room Leader or Lead Teacher
- Create creative, enriching, and learning opportunities for children
- Support children who face barriers to learning
- Maintain high standards of care and contribute to raising educational standards within the nursery
Requirements
- Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) as a minimum, or a commitment to undertake one
- High standards of spoken and written English
- Ability to be organized, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
- Commitment to the role and the school's values
