Key Worker in Early Years

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality education and care for a named young child or group of children
• Work as part of the Early Years team under the direction of the Room Leader or Lead Teacher
• Create creative, enriching, and learning opportunities for children
• Support children who face barriers to learning
• Maintain high standards of care and contribute to raising educational standards within the nursery

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) as a minimum, or a commitment to undertake one
• High standards of spoken and written English
• Ability to be organized, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
• Commitment to the role and the school's values
