About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain assigned bakery production lines to meet production targets
- Ensure all machinery is clean, organized, and operating according to standard operating procedures
- Drive the production process to ensure products meet customer specifications for quality and food safety
- Maintain impeccable hygiene standards and follow "clean as you go" principles
- Perform effective handovers with maintenance teams and incoming shifts, reporting all faults and issues
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements to maintain a positive safety culture on the line
- Monitor machine parameters and troubleshoot issues to minimize waste and downtime
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Aptitude for automated mechanical processes
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication, math, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules, including night shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of related manufacturing or bakery experience
