Key Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain ice cream production machinery according to standard operating procedures
• Drive the production process to ensure products meet customer specifications, quality, and food safety standards
• Maintain impeccable hygiene and GMP standards using a "clean as you go" principle
• Ensure effective handovers with the maintenance team and incoming shifts, reporting all faults and issues
• Monitor production targets to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly outputs are met
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements to maintain a positive safety culture on the line
• Manage machine tools, ancillary equipment, and proper storage of all production materials

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, wet, and humid environment with varying temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related manufacturing or production experience
