About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure smooth and efficient store operations
- Lead by example to model behaviors required for inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Coach and mentor the sales team to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Perform essential start and end of day cash reconciliation
- Take responsibility for opening and closing the store on a rota basis
Requirements
- Proven retail experience, preferably within the cosmetics industry
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide a personalized experience
- Experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Experience with cash handling and reconciliation is highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience, including coaching or mentoring others
- Prior experience in retail operations, specifically opening and closing procedures
