About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage sales through distributors to Modern Trade (MT) retail accounts such as Reliance, D-Mart, and Apollo
- Deliver volume and value business against Annual Sales Planning (ASP) targets by location
- Execute monthly creative promotions at the store level in alignment with Marketing and Category heads
- Drive visibility in Modern Trade through head office support and strong relationships with chain teams
- Negotiate and generate purchase orders (POs) with local buying managers
- Ensure 100% fill rates to MT accounts by managing distributor stocks and accurate forecasting
- Manage trade activation, including merchandising activities for new launches and promotions
- Oversee third-party teams, including promoters and supervisors, at the outlet level
Requirements
- Graduation degree is required
- 5-8 years of experience in FMCG sales
- Proven sales experience specifically within Modern Trade
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
