Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs to facilitate implementation of value-add solutions
  • Develop and expand sales of additional and new products and services
  • Develop and execute customer-specific statistical business plans, KPIs, and budgets
  • Facilitate regular meetings with customers
  • Set up commercial propositions by interacting with sales administration, marketing, installation, and project management
  • Maintain and develop customer relations from mid-management to C-level

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of proven track record in account management or sales
  • Experience in the retail industry
  • Familiarity with selling technical solutions (data, software, or solution selling)
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Ability to identify solution value and transform it into sales
  • High level of personal drive and proactive work methods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Key Account Manager or Area Manager
