About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities within major accounts
- Promote and deploy latest innovations and solutions to existing customers
- Prepare tenders and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams
- Build and strengthen relationships with decision-makers from store level to C-suite
- Develop partnerships with integrators and ecosystem players
- Contribute to business plans, forecasts, and revenue targets
- Represent the company at client events and trade shows
Requirements
- 10 years of experience as a Key Account Manager or similar B2B sales role
- Experience selling complex technical solutions (hardware, software, and services)
- Experience with long sales cycles
- Knowledge of the retail industry
- Native or equivalent proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written)
- Fluent English
