About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities within major accounts
  • Promote and deploy latest innovations and solutions to existing customers
  • Prepare tenders and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams
  • Build and strengthen relationships with decision-makers from store level to C-suite
  • Develop partnerships with integrators and ecosystem players
  • Contribute to business plans, forecasts, and revenue targets
  • Represent the company at client events and trade shows

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience as a Key Account Manager or similar B2B sales role
  • Experience selling complex technical solutions (hardware, software, and services)
  • Experience with long sales cycles
  • Knowledge of the retail industry
  • Native or equivalent proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written)
  • Fluent English
