Key Account Manager - Underground

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customers regarding sales and technical inquiries
• Develop and execute activity plans for existing and new customers to drive business growth
• Manage key accounts and build long-term relationships through regular site visits and engagement
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for Epiroc equipment and integrated solutions
• Lead negotiations and support the finalization of customer contracts
• Cover diverse customer positions including mining owners, contractors, and consultants
• Coordinate with internal technical and service teams to provide tailored equipment solutions and after-sales support
• Track underground project developments, including new mining, tunneling, and feasibility studies
• Maintain accurate sales activity records in the Salesforce CRM from lead to close
• Capture and report market insights and competitor activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably Geology or Mining
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the drilling or heavy equipment industry
• Proven experience within the exploration and mining sector
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal communication skills
• Expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
• Ability to understand and communicate technical product features and benefits
• Strategic thinking and business development acumen
