About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a structured customer base within the Data Center segment in the D-A-CH region
  • Identify, approach, and qualify relevant end customers, general contractors, and suppliers in the data center construction and operations sector
  • Establish and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers in procurement, technical, and project management departments
  • Identify business opportunities and convert them into concrete projects through specialist retail channels
  • Develop and implement customized account strategies in coordination with the Head of Job Site Solutions D-A-CH
  • Conduct product presentations, application training, and demonstrations for power tools, accessories, and personal protective equipment
  • Collaborate closely with international colleagues, particularly the UK team, in English
  • Monitor market and competitor trends within the Data Center segment
  • Maintain and document all activities, opportunities, and customer data within the CRM system

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical degree, ideally related to electrical engineering, construction, or a similar field
  • Several years of experience in Key Account Management or technical sales, preferably within the Data Center, building technology, or construction industries
  • Strong "hunter" mentality with a proven ability to build customer relationships from the ground up
  • Experience working with indirect sales channels such as specialist retail and distribution
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office
  • Native or C2 level German and C1 level English proficiency
  • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel within the D-A-CH region
  • Residence in or near the Rhine-Main area is preferred
