About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic accounts within the French solar energy market to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Handle contracts with existing customers to ensure smooth collaboration and high satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for clients, bridging the gap between their needs and company solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with EPCs, developers, and investors to position Sungrow's technology effectively.
  • Benchmark PV products against competitors both commercially and technically.
  • Represent the company at customer visits, trade shows, and industry conferences.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, reporting, and market research.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering qualification focused on energy systems.
  • At least 2 years of technical sales experience, ideally within the renewable energy or solar sector.
  • Proficiency in both English and French at a C1 level.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly across France.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.
  • Experience working within a Chinese company.
  • Deep familiarity with the French solar market and Sungrow's PV product portfolio.
  • Based in Lyon or Paris.
