Key Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business plans for assigned regional accounts to drive operating profits and revenue growth.
• Manage and allocate local trade and promotional spending budgets in alignment with regional guidelines.
• Utilize syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen) to identify growth opportunities in distribution, merchandising, and category management.
• Build and maintain preferred relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations.
• Coach and develop Account Representatives through performance appraisals and individual development plans.
• Act as a Category Manager for customers to ensure brand leadership and "top of mind" positioning.
• Coordinate with internal teams including marketing, sales operations, and finance to achieve space dimension improvement goals.

Requirements

• College Degree or equivalent experience in key account management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the consumer goods (CPG) industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with mandatory presentation development and delivery skills.
• Proven analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively with various classes of trade accounts.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
