About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy sector, including Oil & Gas, renewables, and large-scale inspection projects.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and proposal development to closing and post-sale follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at refineries, traders, EPC companies, and energy developers.
- Handle a diverse portfolio ranging from rapid-response quotes for daily operations to high-ticket, complex long-term projects.
- Manage service contracts for inspection, certification, and testing within the Natural Resources division.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and provide regular performance reports to the Director of Natural Resources.
- Participate in industry events and oversee accounts receivable collection.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Marketing, Administration, or a related field relevant to the energy sector.
- Minimum 5 years of "hunter" sales experience (KAM, Business Developer, or Sales Executive) in the energy, inspection, or EPC sectors.
- Deep knowledge of the Oil & Gas and energy ecosystem in Colombia, including traders and refineries.
- Advanced English fluency is mandatory for international negotiations.
- Valid US Visa or the willingness to obtain one.
- Availability to travel within Colombia and occasionally abroad.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
