About the role
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for a defined hospital account area including strategic account planning
- Building and maintaining strong relationships at the decision-maker level (Chief Physicians, IT management, Nursing Directors, Purchasing, Boards)
- Leading discussions for complex software solutions using value-based argumentation
- Managing the entire sales cycle from needs assessment to closing
- Pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM documentation
- Collaborating with Inside Sales, Sales Consultants, and Product Management
- High travel activity within the sales territory (Germany-wide)
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Key Account Manager in IT/Software, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Proven success in B2B software sales (Enterprise/SaaS/Platform) with long sales cycles
- Strong executive presence and negotiation skills
- Expertise in consultative and value-based selling
- Experience with tenders and procurement processes, ideally in hospital environments
- Fluency in German and good English skills
- High willingness to travel and a structured, independent way of working
- Knowledge of Healthcare-IT topics (interoperability, IT security/data protection) and CRM tools
