About the role

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for a defined hospital account area including strategic account planning
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships at the decision-maker level (Chief Physicians, IT management, Nursing Directors, Purchasing, Boards)
  • Leading discussions for complex software solutions using value-based argumentation
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from needs assessment to closing
  • Pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM documentation
  • Collaborating with Inside Sales, Sales Consultants, and Product Management
  • High travel activity within the sales territory (Germany-wide)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Key Account Manager in IT/Software, preferably in the healthcare sector
  • Proven success in B2B software sales (Enterprise/SaaS/Platform) with long sales cycles
  • Strong executive presence and negotiation skills
  • Expertise in consultative and value-based selling
  • Experience with tenders and procurement processes, ideally in hospital environments
  • Fluency in German and good English skills
  • High willingness to travel and a structured, independent way of working
  • Knowledge of Healthcare-IT topics (interoperability, IT security/data protection) and CRM tools
